You can see "springs" everywhere in your life.
As we are a spring manufacturing machine maker which is few in the world, we have sold our machines not only in Japan but also in the world. Our machines are good at producing large springs especially for suspensions for automobiles, leaf springs for trucks and springs for trains.
Also, we have exported large number of our machines to overseas, mainly to countries in Asia such as China and India, including Europe and America as well. We have earned our customers' confidence.
Almost all machines manufactured in our plant are "custom-made" machines. Our work is manufacturing the machine which is only one in the world. We can say that this is the most remarkable point of Morita and Company.

My Jobs

My job is designing spring manufacturing machines.
I study and design the machines. I design machines from the beginning, and sometimes I improve machine at our customer. It is very impressive to see the completed machine which I study and design.

Memorable Episode

I was given a job of serial work from designing through shipping the machines.
In first year I joined Morita, I was in charge of a machine in line. I added new mechanism to meet our customer's request, but after the part is manufactured, it didn't work well. Then I discussed how to solve the problem with electrician and mechanician.
Finally the machine ran well, and it was delivered to our customer. There are lots of troubles, but I could get over them and it gives me confidence.

The reason why I chose Morita

I can actually see the machine manufactured and completed at our plant, which I design.
I was interested in the manufacturing industry when I started job hunt. However, as I attended company information session, I started to think the designer is the key in the manufacturing industry. We have our plant next to the office, so you can actually see the completed machine at the plant. I think it is the biggest pressure for designer.

My jobs

I am a sales assistant, especially for sales in overseas.
My main jobs are making quotations and arranging shipments for spare parts of our machine.
Sometimes I prepare documents for an export of our machine.
Also, I arrange our engineers' flight ticket since our engineers often visit our customers' plant for installation.
Like this, I have a lot of things to do.

Memorable Episode

Our customer is located in all over the world, and most of them don't speak English as their mother tongue.
We don't speak English as the mother tongue neither, so sometimes it is difficult to tell our customer only by written message.
Also, it is difficult for me to understand technical issue of the machine.
When I face this kind of problem, I use pictures and photos to tell what I would like to say.
It makes me happy when we understand each other.

The reason why I chose Morita

When I was looking for a job, I was interested in 2 jobs.
One is a job which can communicate with people in English, and the other is a job related to an international trade.
I found that I can have both jobs in Morita and Company.
It is very nice to have jobs which I would like to do.
Also the number of people working here is not so large, so everyone knows me, and I know everyone.

I design the electrical circuit and layout of the machine parts according to our customer's request.
I run the machine to check if it works well.
